BS Psychology ‘23

Kaelah is a junior psychology major with a neuroscience minor. During her time here at Drexel, she has been a research assistant for World Vision WASH on the Decolonizing WASH Research Study where she has worked with researchers and funders across 12 countries and has presented at global conferences to contribute to decolonization efforts in low and middle-income countries. She takes pride in advocating for marginalized communities and individuals across the globe. After she graduates, she plans to take a gap year and be a part of the Peace Corps before going to medical school. Kaelah is an aspiring surgeon and plans to join Doctors Without Borders after she completes her residency. Her goal is to combine all of her academic interests within the disciplines of social justice, global health, psychology, neuroscience, and medicine to become a better advocate for marginalized people and touch lives all over the world as a physician. She will use her Gilman Scholarship to participate in a Global Field Intensive in Ghana with fellow Dornsife Global Development Scholars.
